The New Zealand Kakapo is one of New Zealand’s very endangered Birds,

It is one of our Flightless Birds, & it is officially the Largest Parrot in the World.

Unfortunately the Kakapo does not produce offspring every year.

Their means of defense also is to Freeze and not move, so through a combination on low birth rates and predation the Kakapo numbers plummeted to 51 in 1995, and today in 2023 the population sits at 247. Thanks to Conservation groups, in particular the Department of Conservation.

Weighing approximately 45kg and finished in full color, this lovely native bird is a must see.

Designed as a Centre Piece for a Corporate Foyer or Office, or to enhance a Beautiful Home,

This is New Zealand’s Bronze at its best.
